When does the opening take place?

The Ecocentre opens its gates to visitors on 27 April.

What makes the aquarium special?

The aquarium with its total capacity of over 735,000 literes will be unique in its size as well as in its complexity. As Europe’s largest fresh water aquarium it will also serve as Hungary’s first water zoo featuring native aquatic species.

When is the Ecocentre open?

The Ecocentre can be visited daily from 9am to 6pm. The ticket office closes at 5pm.

Where can I park my car?

You can find a car park for 72 passenger cars near the main entrance. Parking is free for visitors. Buses are not allowed to park here! In case you find it full, please drive on to the next (paying!) car park at Gate II.

Tourist buses can be parked in the car parks next to road No.33 in centre of Poroszló or in the (paying!) parking lot near Gate II.

Are dogs or other small animals allowed in the Ecocentre?

Sorry, no dogs or other animals are allowed to enter the territory of the Ecocentre (just like other zoos) for veterinary reasons with the exception of guide dogs for the blind or the partially sighted.
