In the following statement Lake Tisza ECOCENTRE briefly describes its policy, how it collects, manages and stores customers’ personal information. The policy is based on and fully complies with the concerning Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information.
ECOCENTRE hereafter also referred to as Data Manager assures all its customers that it collects personal information only if and to the extent indispensable for the given business activity. Customers are asked to provide personal data on a voluntary basis, for example when filling in registration forms, signing up for newsletters, booking tickets online etc. The Data Manager informs customers about the exact purpose and the extent of the required data, ensures their accuracy and the limits of their application.
If customers do not give other order, ECOCENTRE will use collected personal information for the following purposes:
- To send customers newsletters about new programmes and special offers
- To inform customers about any changes concerning business activity, scheduled programmes or new visitor packages.
The Data Manager will keep all the gathered data strictly confidential and will disclose or share them with a partner only if customers give their written consent or it is required by the law. All data will be stored in the safest possible way with secured IT and technically and administratively protected from illegal use and automatically deleted latest within 15 days after use.
Customers have the right to ask to have their data corrected, modified or deleted any time as well as to get detailed information about the purpose, use, management and protection of all their personal information. The Data Manager is obliged to comply with such a request and take the necessary measures latest within 30 days.
In the case of any legally controversial issue the relevant Hungarian law, regulations and procedures should be applied.
